We are delighted to be able to confirm that DFE provisional performance figures have revealed that Holly Lodge’s GCSE results last year were above the average for Liverpool in the crucial Progress 8 measure. Progress 8 is a measure of how much progress students have made at school between joining in Year 7 and leaving with their GCSE results. The average for Liverpool is provisionally -0.24 whilst the provisional score for Holly Lodge is -0.22.

This means that, last year, students at Holly Lodge made more progress than ever before and represents a huge improvement on results in previous years repeating last year’s performance as one of the fastest improving schools in Liverpool.

Headteacher Andy Keen said “We are very proud of our students, the progress they have made and the results they achieved. We are sure that our commitment to teaching, high aspirations and challenge will lead to continued excellent results in the future.”
