Being in sixth form can be a stressful time – trying to balance hard work in the classroom, homework, extra reading, work experience, university applications and more! Here at Holly Lodge Girls’ College we recognise that life is about balance, and that fun and relaxation is good for our mental health and relationships with others. As part of supporting our students with this we are organising regular social events where we can all spend a bit of time together and de-stress.

In September, we have had a lovely time after school doing some therapeutic grown-up colouring-in (and treated ourselves to a nice slice of cake!)

In October, we tried our hand at pumpkin carving and were actually very surprised at how good we were at it!

And you’ll never guess what we’re thinking of doing next!
