Staff, students and parents were all thrilled by the best ever results achieved by Year 11 in the new, more challenging GCSEs this year. More students than ever before achieved the all-important grades of 5 and above in both GCSE English and Maths whilst records were also set in the numbers of students who achieved the English Baccalaureate.
The results were fully deserved by the students, whose resilience, focus, hard work and excellence all embody the school’s ethos of “Expect to Achieve”. Radio City was also present – excerpts from their report are below.
