On Monday 21st November Mrs Maddocks & Mr Hindley went to St James’ Palace, London, to watch 11 of our Gold Duke of Edinburgh students receive their awards. The awards were presented by HRH Prince Edward (the Duke of Wessex) which was a fantastic honour which the girls and their parents were delighted with. To complete their gold Duke of Edinburgh Award, students had to complete 12 months volunteering, 6 months working on a skill, 6 months working on physical skills, a 4 day, 3 night expedition and a 5 day, 4 night residential. As you can see, this is a huge accomplishment and we are very proud of the girls involved. Huge congratulations to: Patrice Atherton, Beth Kilbride, Kelly Roper, Lucy Edge, Rimaza Rafeek, Georgia Higgins, Casey Spencer, Rachel De Asha, Rachel Connolly & Ashley Bennet & Lois Lamb.
